This policy explains what VIRALCADE collects, why, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
- Account data — your email and basic profile (via Google sign-in or email). Used to authenticate you and run your account.
- Uploads — the video file and subtitles you submit for a render. Used only to generate your recap.
- Outputs — the recap, thumbnail, and titles we generate for you.
- Usage & billing — credits, render history, and payment status (the payment itself is handled by our processor; we do not store card numbers).
How long we keep it (retention)
- Uploaded source files are deleted shortly after your render completes (within hours). We do not retain a library of your source videos.
- Generated outputs are retained so you can download them, then expire on a rolling window. Download what you need promptly.
- Account, credit-ledger, and payment records are retained while your account is active and as required for legal/accounting purposes.
Who processes your data (sub-processors)
- Supabase — authentication & database
- Cloudflare R2 — temporary file storage & delivery
- Modal — render compute
- Our LLM provider — script/title generation
- Our payment provider (Merchant of Record) — checkout, billing, and tax
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data. We don’t use your uploaded films to train models. We don’t share your content except with the sub-processors above strictly to deliver the Service.
Your choices
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@viralcade.com. We’ll action it within a reasonable period, subject to records we must keep by law.
